PadelRef 1.4.4: your remote remembers you

v1.4.4

PadelRef 1.4.4 is rolling out on Google Play. Version 1.4.3 made the Bluetooth remote easy to set up; 1.4.4 makes it feel like yours. The app now remembers how you like your clicker — and keeps that memory even while the clicker is gone.

Your settings, saved for later

Unpair a remote — or let an old one drop off the list — and PadelRef keeps its settings safe. Pair the same button again next week and your click timing, button mapping and team assignment are back before you notice they were gone, with a note on screen telling you they were restored.

Recommendations at your pace

The click-timing setup used to play it too safe: quick clickers could walk away with a window far slower than the one they would pick by hand. The recommendations now stay close to your measured pace — quick for the quick, and never twitchy either. And if a restored remote comes back with timing that no longer fits, re-running the setup is one tap away.

Taking over a button, without the standoff

Pairing a clicker that still belongs to another phone got another round of care. The app now tells you exactly what to do — switch Bluetooth off on the other phone, then press and hold — and patiently keeps scanning for a full two minutes while you do it, instead of giving up with a shrug.
