Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PadelRef mobile application ("the app", "PadelRef"), published by Alexey Zhuravlev under the developer name "StriveFlow Labs" ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PadelRef, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use PadelRef on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the store from which you downloaded the app.

2. Subscriptions and purchases (PadelRef Premium)

PadelRef is free to use for core scoring. Some features are part of PadelRef Premium, offered as auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase:

• Weekly, Monthly, and Annual auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Lifetime - a one-time, non-recurring purchase.

Free-tier allowances. Without Premium, the app provides:

• Voice announcements free in your first 3 matches.
• The Bluetooth remote free for 10 matches after install, then 2 matches per calendar month thereafter.
• Access to your 20 most recent matches in History and in the Overall stats.

These allowances are convenience limits on top of core scoring, which is always free, and they may be adjusted over time.

Free-tier allowances are voluntary trial quotas that we provide, free of charge, so you can evaluate Premium features before deciding whether to purchase Premium. They are a courtesy on top of core scoring - which is always free - and not a purchased entitlement. We reserve the right to limit, withhold, or revoke free-tier allowances where we have reasonable grounds to suspect abuse of the service, for example repeatedly reinstalling the app to reset allowances. To apply these limits fairly across reinstalls, the app uses a hashed device identifier as described in our Privacy Policy. Changes or refusal of free-tier allowances never affect features you have purchased.

Billing, renewal, and cancellation:

• Purchases are processed by Google Play (or the Apple App Store on iOS), not by us. Their payment terms apply.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Google Play account → Subscriptions (or App Store → Subscriptions on iOS). Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region and over time.

Right of withdrawal (EU / Spain consumers): digital content is supplied immediately upon purchase. Where you are an EU consumer (including in Spain), you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal; however, by purchasing and accessing the digital content immediately, you acknowledge that you may lose that right once the content has been supplied, to the extent permitted by law. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Refund requests are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their respective policies.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including: reverse-engineering except where permitted by law, circumventing purchase or entitlement checks, or using the app in violation of applicable law.

4. Intellectual property

PadelRef - including its design, code, text, and branding - is owned by Alexey Zhuravlev and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. The player names and match data you enter remain yours.

5. Disclaimers

PadelRef is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. PadelRef is an independent scoring aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by any padel federation or governing body. Match scores are recorded for your convenience and are not an official record.

If you are a consumer in the European Union (including Spain), you benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services under Directive (EU) 2019/770 as implemented in your country - in Spain, the General Consumer and User Protection Act (TRLGDCU). This includes remedies such as bringing the content into conformity, a proportionate price reduction, or termination of the contract. Nothing in this section excludes or limits those rights.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alexey Zhuravlev will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. In any case, Alexey Zhuravlev’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the app will be limited to an amount equal to the fees you paid for the app during the one (1) month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to such liability. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer‑protection rights.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you reside.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, surface the changes in the app. For material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice - at least via a notice in the app - before they take effect; if you do not agree with a material change, you may stop using the app and cancel any subscription before the change applies. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
