Cookie Policy
Effective date: 20 September 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on the user's device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) when they visit the site. They are commonly used to make the website work properly, remember user preferences, analyse how the site is used or show personalised content.
There are also similar technologies (such as pixels, tags or local storage) that may perform functions analogous to cookies.
2. Types of cookies used on this website
Depending on their purpose, this website may use the following categories of cookies:
- Technical or strictly necessary cookies: these are essential for the operation of the website and for enabling navigation and the use of its different options or services (for example, controlling data traffic and communication, identifying a session, accessing restricted areas, remembering elements of a form, etc.).
- Preference or customisation cookies (only if you use them): these allow information to be remembered so that the user accesses the service with certain characteristics that can differentiate their experience (for example, language, the number of results to display when the user performs a search, the appearance or content of the service depending on the type of browser or the region from which it is accessed, etc.).
- Analytics or measurement cookies (only if you use them): these allow the monitoring and analysis of user behaviour on the website, including the measurement of the impact of advertisements, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of usage data.
- Advertising or marketing cookies: this website does not currently use advertising or marketing cookies, and none are set today. If advertising or ad-campaign measurement is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and such cookies will be installed only with your separate, prior consent.
In any case, non-technical or non-necessary cookies (for example, analytics cookies) will only be installed on the user's device if the user has given prior consent through the cookie banner or settings panel.
3. Specific cookies used
The following cookies may be used on this website:
| Cookie name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Approximate duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cookie_consent | padelref.live (first-party) | Stores your cookie consent choice so the banner is not shown again. | Technical / necessary | 12 months |
_ga | Google (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes unique users. | Third-party, analytics | 2 years |
_ga_H2J6LZT1GY | Google (Google Analytics 4) | Persists analytics session state. | Third-party, analytics | 2 years |
The technical cookie_consent cookie is exempt from prior consent because it is strictly necessary to remember your choice. The analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_H2J6LZT1GY) are only installed once you accept analytics through the cookie banner or settings panel.
4. Managing and rejecting cookies
On their first visit to the website, users may accept or reject the use of non-necessary cookies (for example, analytics cookies) through the cookie banner or settings panel. This panel, which is accessible at all times, allows users to change their preferences or withdraw previously granted consent.
The use of technical or strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the settings panel as they are essential for the operation of the website.
5. Changing cookie settings in the browser
In addition to the options offered through this website, users can allow, block or delete cookies installed on their device by configuring the options of the browser installed on their device.
The way to do this may differ depending on the browser used. Below are non-exhaustive links to information provided by the main browsers on how to manage cookies:
We recommend checking the help or documentation of the browser you use for up-to-date information on how to manage cookies.
6. Updating this Cookie policy
This Cookie policy may be updated due to changes in the cookies used or because of legal or regulatory requirements. Users are therefore advised to review this policy periodically.
This Cookie policy will be updated by indicating the date of the latest revision.
