PadelRef 1.4.2: our first public release, now on Google Play

v1.4.2

PadelRef is out. Version 1.4.2 is rolling out now on Google Play — and this is our first public release, not a polish update. The iPhone version comes later; we will announce it here as soon as it lands.

Months of testing before we shipped

We took our time with this one. PadelRef went through real matches on real courts, a closed group of testers, and a long list of fixes: every tie-break edge case, every golden-point ruling, every awkward tap in the middle of a set. We kept playing and kept fixing until the scoreboard did the one thing it has to do — keep the true score visible, so matches end with confidence instead of arguments.

What is in the first release

  • Every format — advantage or golden point, tie-breaks and super tie-breaks.
  • Custom presets for the way your group plays, plus match history and player stats.
  • Voice announcements of the score, with a one-tap mute right on the scoreboard.
  • Bluetooth remotes for hands-free scoring, including a Recommended remotes guide listing the clickers we have actually tested with PadelRef.

The complete scoreboard is free.

What comes next

The iPhone release is next on our list, and we keep improving the Android app in the meantime. Questions, bugs or ideas? Write to us at info@padelref.live — we read everything. See you on court.

Keep the real score, live.
